GUIDED AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Write your memoir two pages at a time.One of only 500 certified Guided Autobiography Facilitators globally, Bill Marsella guides groups in a workshop setting, prompting memories and reflection by exploring rich and varied life themes. Listen to the stories of other participants and share your own in a small group setting to strengthen your writing, find new meaning, and put significant life events in perspective.Guided Autobiography is an ideal way to pass along valuable lessons, stories, and history to your friends, family, and future generations.
During the pandemic, instruction takes place using video conferencing technology over an eight-week period. Bill Marsella
Bill Marsella has a passion for helping people share their life stories so that they know their lives have made a difference and will be remembered by future generations.Bill’s own life of service has made a difference in the world. After earning his M.S.W. in social work, Bill applied his love of people and his gift for storytelling to his long careers in the Army Reserve Medical Corps helping soldiers manage extreme stress on the battlefield and as a professional fundraiser inspiring thousands of donors to give to the charities or causes they care about in our community.Bill is a trained Legacy Facilitator and has his certification in Guided Autobiography instruction from the Birren Institute for Autobiographical Studies. Bill lives with his wife Cathy in Minnesota. Together, they are blessed with five adult children, 13 grandchildren, and a beloved dog named Audrey.
